Itinerary
You will rendezvous with your driver at the riad/hotel at 8 am, and together you will embark on your journey from Marrakech to the enchanting Dades Valley, crossing the magnificent Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) nestled within the High Atlas Mountains. As you make your way from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, you will be treated to a picturesque route adorned with vibrant and diverse landscapes, showcasing the beauty of Berber villages along the path. Upon reaching Ouarzazate, you will have leisure time to explore the historic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a revered UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987 and a captivating backdrop for numerous renowned films such as “Gladiator,” “Indiana Jones,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and “Game of Thrones.” Take a delightful walk to appreciate the Moroccan traditional architectural style of the Kasbah, followed by a delectable lunch. Continuing southeastward, you will venture towards the verdant Dades Valley, often referred to as the ‘city of roses,’ passing through the captivating Skoura palm grove. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be arranged in the Dades Valley.
After enjoying a satisfying breakfast, you will depart from your hotel in the Dades Valley at 8 am, embarking on a remarkable journey along the renowned Road of the 1000 Kasbahs, meandering through the vibrant Berber villages that adorn the colorful landscapes of the valley. Continuing for another 45 km, you will reach the captivating town of Tinghir, with its splendid palm grove and Jewish quarter. Your adventure will then lead you to the majestic Todra Gorges (Todgha), where you will have ample free time to embark on a trek through the awe-inspiring canyons, rising approximately 300 meters high, a popular destination for rock climbers. As your journey unfolds, you will proceed towards the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara desert, with a delightful lunch break along the way before reaching Erfoud. By approximately 4 pm, you will arrive at the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, where an unforgettable experience awaits. You will embark on a captivating camel ride, guided by the gentle creatures that await you, while witnessing the mesmerizing sunset over the horizon. Upon reaching the camp, you will relish a delectable dinner and immerse yourself in the enchanting melodies of drum music played around a comforting fire in the heart of the Sahara. This is an extraordinary opportunity to capture breathtaking photographs and spend the night in cozy nomadic tents, creating memories to treasure.
On this occasion, you will wake up early in the morning to witness the majestic sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After that, a delightful breakfast will be served at the camp, followed by a camel trek back to the hotel situated along the dune line, where you can quickly freshen up with a refreshing shower. From there, our journey will take us to Rissani, a captivating Saharan town in the southeast of Morocco. We will have the opportunity to make a stop there and visit a fascinating fossil workshop before continuing onwards to Agdez and reaching the junction of the Draa Valley. Heading northwards, we will venture towards Ouarzazate, traversing the picturesque volcanic Atlas Mountains. In Ouarzazate, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in comfortable accommodation.
During your stay in the “Hollywood of Africa,” Ouarzazate, after having breakfast, we will embark on a fascinating visit to explore the cinema sets and studios that are situated there. Ouarzazate is renowned for being a prominent destination for film production, earning its nickname as the ‘Hollywood of Africa.’
Following our exploration in Ouarzazate, our journey will continue towards Marrakesh, taking us through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. As we traverse this picturesque route, we will make a stop in the midst of the Atlas Mountains for a delightful lunch.
Finally, we will conclude our adventure by dropping you off at your chosen riad or hotel in Marrakesh, ensuring a comfortable and convenient end to the trip.

Hotel based on two persons sharing one room with twin beds or a king size bed or single. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily breakfast and dinner (Dinner available upon request). When making a reservation, please let us know your preferred room type.

As specified in the itinerary, you will be accompanied by an English, Italian, or Spanish-speaking guide during the individual full-day tour packages.

Private Transfers :
